Calahonda - Mijas in Spain

The centrally located position of Calahonda is a perfect starting point to numerous day trips. Worth seeing is the old city of Marbella and the promenade, Puerto Banus the harbour of Marbella, the monkey-rock and the shopping mall in Gibraltar and Rondas white city with her legendary canyon. But also Sevilla, Malaga and Benalmadena is worth to see. The Tivoly World Facility is nice to see for kids. Go by gondola up to the mountain of Banalmadena, see the cathedral and the Alhambra of Granada and don`t forget the snowy Sierra Nevada. For sportsmen among the tourist there are golf and tennis courts in Calahonda and the environment, during the summerperiod you have a lot of possibilities for water-sports like aquaparks and also horse riding and hiking paths.
